I love when the weather first changes and I can cuddle in a blanket, bake some warm treats and eat SOUP!! Today’s winner winner easy dinner is one of our favorites, Taco Soup. It is fast, easy and delicious.  My kids actually refer to it as Yummy Soup. You can heat it on the stove or throw it in the crock pot. Top it with some sour cream and cheese or Frito Scoops.

I like adding Chili Beans and Black Chili Beans it adds a little bit more flavor and I can skip the step of draining the beans. The crock pot is my favorite kitchen appliance, the flavor of the soup is better when I cook it in the crock pot but the stove is a great back up when I forgot to put it in.

Taco Soup

  • 1 can corn
  • 1 can black beans (drained)
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 lbs ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning


  1. Add beans, corn and tomatoes together in a pan or crock pot. Cook ground beef, drain excess fat and add taco seasoning. Mix with the rest of the soup. Heat until hot. 

  2. *Add sour cream, cheese, and chips if desired.
