- 1 whole Beef Tongue about 3 lbs
- 1 large Onion quartered
- 4 cloves Garlic peeled
- 2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper whole
- 2 cups Beef Broth
- 2 pcs Bay Leaves
1. Rinse the beef tongue under cold water and place it in the slow cooker.
2. Add the onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, beef broth, and bay leaves to the slow cooker.
3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the tongue is tender.
4. Once cooked, remove the tongue from the slow cooker and let it cool slightly.
5. Peel off the skin from the tongue and slice it thinly.
6. Serve with your favorite sides or use in tacos, sandwiches, or salads.
