Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Raspberries fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch optional, for thickening

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until raspberries break down and mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
  3. If using cornstarch, mix it with a little water to form a slurry and add to the saucepan. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until thickened.
  4. Strain the sauce through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds, if desired.
  5. Let the sauce cool before serving. Store in the refrigerator.
