3. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until soft. Add ground beef, thyme, allspice, and scotch bonnet pepper. Cook until beef is browned. Add beef broth, salt, and black pepper. Simmer until liquid is reduced. Cool filling.
4. Roll out dough on a floured surface. Cut into circles. Place filling in the center of each circle. Fold over and seal edges with a fork. Brush with egg wash.
5. Place patties on a baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
