Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Linguine
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1 can Crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
  • ½ cup White wine
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ cup Fresh basil chopped

Instructions 

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Add the crushed tomatoes, white wine, and salt. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in the chopped basil and cooked linguine. Toss to combine and heat through.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with additional basil if desired.
