Instructions
Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for about 1 minute.
Add the crushed tomatoes, white wine, and salt. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the chopped basil and cooked linguine. Toss to combine and heat through.
Serve hot, garnished with additional basil if desired.
