Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary optional

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil, and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Spread the dough onto a greased baking sheet, pressing it out to fill the sheet.
  7. Use your fingers to make dimples in the dough, then drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with rosemary.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
