Butter Tart Squares
Delicious butter tart squares with a gooey filling and a flaky crust.

Crust
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ¼ cup brown sugar
Filling
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup raisins
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, softened butter, and ¼ cup brown sugar. Mix until crumbly.
Press mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x9 inch baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
In another bowl, combine beaten eggs, 1 cup brown sugar, raisins, melted butter, vinegar, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Pour filling over the baked crust. Bake for an additional 35 minutes or until set.
Let cool before cutting into squares.
