Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • as needed vegetable oil for frying
  • as needed powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. 2. Remove from heat and stir in flour until mixture forms a ball.
  3. 3. Transfer dough to a mixing bowl. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla extract.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a frying pan. Drop dough by tablespoons into hot oil. Fry until golden brown.
  5. 5. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar.
