Main Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- as needed vegetable oil for frying
- as needed powdered sugar for dusting
1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
2. Remove from heat and stir in flour until mixture forms a ball.
3. Transfer dough to a mixing bowl. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla extract.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan. Drop dough by tablespoons into hot oil. Fry until golden brown.
5. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar.
