- 1 cup Yellow split peas
- 2 cups Carrots, chopped
- 1 cup Rice
- 4 cups Water
1. Rinse the yellow split peas and rice under cold water.
2. In a pot, combine the yellow split peas, carrots, rice, and water.
3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, or until everything is tender.
4. Let it cool slightly, then blend until smooth.
