Main Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 3 Ripe bananas, mashed about 1 ½ cups
  • cup Melted butter
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Honey
  • ½ cup Chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4x8-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the mashed bananas with the melted butter, beaten egg, vanilla extract, and honey.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then fold in the chopped nuts.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
