Cake Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened
- 1 ½ cups white sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the almond extract.
Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the batter alternately with the milk. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.
