Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 kg Veal, cubed
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 Large onion, chopped
  • 2 Carrots, sliced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 cup Red wine
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add veal and brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same pot, add onion, carrots, and garlic. Cook until softened.
  4. 4. Stir in tomato paste, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for another minute.
  5. 5. Pour in beef broth and red wine. Bring to a boil.
  6. 6. Return veal to the pot. Add bay leaves.
  7. 7. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 2 hours or until veal is tender.
  8. 8. Remove bay leaves. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
