Ingredients

  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, heavy cream, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
  3. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture reaches 234°F (112°C) on a candy thermometer.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and let it cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
