  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar sifted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2-4 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
  2. 2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. 3. Add the vanilla extract and 2 tablespoons of heavy cream. Beat on high for 3 minutes.
  4. 4. If the frosting is too thick, add more heavy cream, one tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
  5. 5. Add a pinch of salt and mix until well combined.
