Turkey Shepherd's Pie
A comforting and hearty dish made with ground turkey and topped with creamy mashed potatoes.

Filling
- 1 lb Ground Turkey
- 1 cup Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Carrots, diced
- 1 cup Peas
- 2 tablespoon Tomato Paste
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Mashed Potatoes
- 4 cups Mashed Potatoes prepared
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- ½ cup Milk
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté the onion, garlic, and carrots until softened.
Add the tomato paste, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, peas, and cooked turkey. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Transfer the turkey mixture to a baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes on top.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
