Thanksgiving Turkey Recipe
A classic Thanksgiving turkey recipe that's juicy and flavorful.

Main Ingredients
- 1 whole turkey (12-14 pounds)
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 whole lemon, halved
- 1 whole onion, quartered
- 4 cloves garlic, smashed
- Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage)
Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
Remove giblets from turkey. Rinse turkey under cold water and pat dry.
Rub turkey with melted butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
Stuff turkey cavity with lemon, onion, garlic, and fresh herbs.
Place turkey on a roasting rack in a roasting pan.
Roast turkey for 3 hours, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
