Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken Breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼ cup Mirin
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger grated
  • 4 cups Cooked Rice
  • 1 cup Steamed Vegetables optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, mirin, and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, cook until fragrant.
  3. 3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. 4. Pour the sauce over the chicken and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
  5. 5. Serve the teriyaki chicken over cooked rice and steamed vegetables if desired.
