Ingredients 

Cake

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Flour
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Butter softened
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder

Topping

  • ½ cup Peanut butter
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  9. Spread the peanut butter over the warm cake.
  10. Melt the chocolate chips and spread over the peanut butter layer.
  11. Let the cake cool completely before serving.
