Main Ingredients
- 2 lbs Beef Round Steak
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
- 1 large Onion sliced
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 can Diced Tomatoes 14.5 oz can
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Season the steak with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the steak on both sides.
Transfer steak to an oven-safe dish. In the same skillet, sauté onions and garlic until soft.
Add diced tomatoes, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Bring to a boil.
Pour the tomato mixture over the steak in the oven-safe dish.
Cover and bake in preheated oven for 2 hours or until the steak is tender.
