Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Beef Round Steak
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 large Onion sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes 14.5 oz can
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the steak on both sides.
  4. Transfer steak to an oven-safe dish. In the same skillet, sauté onions and garlic until soft.
  5. Add diced tomatoes, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Bring to a boil.
  6. Pour the tomato mixture over the steak in the oven-safe dish.
  7. Cover and bake in preheated oven for 2 hours or until the steak is tender.
