Main Ingredients
- 4 large sweet potatoes peeled and cubed
- ¼ cup milk or as needed
- 2 tablespoon butter
- ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper or to taste
1. Peel and cube the sweet potatoes.
2. Boil the sweet potatoes in a pot of water until tender, about 20 minutes.
3. Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot.
4. Add milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
5. Mash until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning if needed.
