Ingredients

  • 12 oz wide egg noodles
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 large eggs beaten
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, sugar, beaten eggs, sour cream, cottage cheese, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the mixture and stir until well combined. Fold in the raisins.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the top with ground cinnamon.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the kugel is set.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
