Ingredients 

Meatballs

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 lb Ground pork
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground nutmeg

Gravy

  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions 

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, allspice, and nutmeg. Form into small meatballs.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Remove meatballs and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add flour to the drippings and whisk until smooth. Gradually add beef broth, whisking constantly until thickened.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Return meatballs to the skillet and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Serve meatballs with gravy over mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
