Ingredients

  • 4 bell peppers tops cut off and seeds removed
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the cooked rice, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  4. Stuff each bell pepper with the beef mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  5. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of each pepper, and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
