- 8 banana peppers large
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup tomato sauce
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the tops off the banana peppers and remove the seeds.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked rice, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Stuff the banana peppers with the beef mixture.
Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and pour tomato sauce over them.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the peppers are tender and the filling is cooked through.
