Ingredients

  • 2 cups Strawberries hulled and chopped
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon Basil finely chopped

Instructions 

  1. Combine strawberries and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until sugar is dissolved and mixture starts to boil.
  3. Add lemon juice and basil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once thickened, remove from heat and let cool. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate.
