Instructions
Combine strawberries and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir until sugar is dissolved and mixture starts to boil.
Add lemon juice and basil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Once thickened, remove from heat and let cool. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate.
