Strawberry Basil Compote Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Strawberries, hulled and chopped
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoon Fresh Basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
1. In a saucepan, combine strawberries and sugar. Cook over medium heat until strawberries release their juices, about 5 minutes.
2. Add basil and lemon juice. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and let cool. Serve warm or chilled.
