  • 1 cup Strawberries diced
  • ¼ cup Fresh Basil chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 loaf Baguette sliced
  • 1 clove Garlic halved
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Rub each toasted baguette slice with the cut side of the garlic clove.
  4. In a bowl, combine diced strawberries, chopped basil, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Spoon the strawberry mixture onto each baguette slice and serve immediately.
