Ingredients 

Dough

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk warm
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2.25 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Filling

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup butter softened

Topping

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 1 cup pecans chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. 2. Add melted butter, salt, and flour to the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
  3. 3. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. 4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. 5. Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 pieces.
  6. 6. In a baking pan, combine melted butter, brown sugar, honey, and chopped pecans for the topping.
  7. 7. Place the buns in the pan on top of the topping mixture. Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. 8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. 9. Let the buns cool for 5 minutes, then invert the pan onto a serving plate to let the topping drizzle over the buns.
