Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Almond extract
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 ⅔ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Almonds whole, for nails
  • 1 tube Red decorating gel

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, and almond extracts.
  3. Gradually add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until combined.
  4. Scoop out a tablespoon of dough and roll it into a finger shape. Press an almond into one end for the nail. Use a knife to make knuckle marks.
  5. Place the fingers on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until lightly golden.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool. Use red decorating gel to add a bloody effect around the almond nails.
