Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa rinsed
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin ground
  • 1 teaspoon paprika smoked
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper ground
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse the quinoa under cold water.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. 3. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. 4. Add the rinsed quinoa, water, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. 5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the water is absorbed and the quinoa is tender.
  6. 6. Fluff the quinoa with a fork and serve.
