Spiced Banana Bread Recipe

- 3 ripe bananas mashed
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup butter melted
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter.
Mix in the sugar, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract.
Sprinkle the baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg over the mixture and mix well.
Add the flour and mix until just incorporated. Do not overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
