  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 cup grated apple

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the grated apple.
  4. Heat a griddle or frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease it. Pour ¼ cup of batter for each pancake onto the griddle.
  5. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
