Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Uncooked Rice preferably long grain
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 Bell Pepper chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce 8 oz
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  3. Stir in uncooked rice, tomato sauce, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
  5. Fluff with a fork and serve hot.
