  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup butter, melted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook grits according to package instructions using water.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked grits, cheese, milk, beaten eggs, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until set and golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
