Southern Grits Casserole
A hearty Southern dish perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups grits
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup milk
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook grits according to package instructions using water.
In a mixing bowl, combine cooked grits, cheese, milk, beaten eggs, salt, and pepper.
Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.
Drizzle melted butter over the top.
Bake for 45 minutes or until set and golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving.
