- 4 large apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the sliced apples to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg over the apples. Stir to coat the apples evenly.
Continue to cook for another 10 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the sauce is thickened.
Serve warm as a side dish or dessert.
