  • 2 lbs Beef stew meat
  • 1 medium Onion diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 1 cup Tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
  2. 2. Add the beef stew meat and brown on all sides.
  3. 3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
  4. 4. Stir in the cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. 5. Pour in the beef broth and tomato sauce, bring to a boil.
  6. 6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 2 hours or until the meat is tender.
