Ingredients

  • 2 lb eye of round roast
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your sous vide precision cooker to 135°F (57°C).
  2. 2. Season the eye of round roast with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
  3. 3. Place the roast in a vacuum-seal bag and add the olive oil. Seal the bag using a vacuum sealer.
  4. 4. Submerge the sealed bag in the water bath and cook for 24 hours.
  5. 5. After cooking, remove the roast from the bag and pat dry with paper towels.
  6. 6. Sear the roast in a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side to develop a crust.
  7. 7. Slice and serve.
