Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Sourdough starter
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Milk warmed
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 tablespoon Butter for cooking
In a mixing bowl, combine sourdough starter, flour, milk, sugar, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for 8-12 hours at room temperature.
After resting, sprinkle baking soda over the dough and knead it in.
Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thick and cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt some butter. Cook the muffins for about 7-10 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Transfer to a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes to ensure they are cooked through.
