  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ cup Butter, melted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the sour cream, milk, eggs, and melted butter.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cornbread cool in the pan for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
