Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Press one can of crescent roll dough into the bottom of a baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough in the baking dish.
Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it over the cream cheese layer.
Pour the melted butter over the top layer of dough.
Mix the remaining sugar with the ground cinnamon and sprinkle over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven until the dough has puffed and turned golden brown, about 30 minutes.
Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
