Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 2 packages cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup white sugar for topping
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Press one can of crescent roll dough into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and the vanilla extract. Spread the mixture over the crescent roll dough in the baking dish.
  4. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Pour the melted butter over the top layer of crescent roll dough.
  6. Mix the remaining ½ cup of sugar with the cinnamon, and sprinkle it over the melted butter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until the crescent roll dough has puffed and turned golden brown, about 30 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
