Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • ½ cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups All-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¾ cup Chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
  • 1 cup Additional powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and ½ cup powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chopped nuts.
  4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool for a few minutes, then roll in additional powdered sugar while still warm.
  6. Once completely cooled, roll in powdered sugar again for a final coating.
