Smothered Pork Chops Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 4 pork chops bone-in or boneless
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 large onion sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- to taste salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1. Season pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
2. Dredge pork chops in flour, shaking off excess.
3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown pork chops on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add onions and cook until softened.
5. Sprinkle remaining flour over onions and stir to coat. Gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly until gravy thickens.
6. Return pork chops to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes or until pork is tender.
