Main Ingredients
- 1 whole Pork Butt about 8-10 lbs
- ¼ cup Kosher Salt
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tablespoon Paprika
- 1 tablespoon Black Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1 tablespoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
2. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl to create the rub.
3. Apply the rub generously to the pork butt, covering all sides.
4. Place the pork butt in the smoker, fat side up.
5. Smoke for about 8 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).
6. Let the pork rest for at least 30 minutes before pulling or slicing.
