  • 1 lb beef round steak cut into serving-size pieces
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5 oz can
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions 

  1. 1. Dredge the steak pieces in flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the steak on both sides.
  3. 3. Transfer the steak to the slow cooker. Add the onion, tomatoes, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. 4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
  5. 5. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
