Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 0.5 cup bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 10.5 ounces condensed French onion soup
  • 10.5 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 ounce dry au jus mix
  • 1 cup water

Instructions 

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, onion, egg, salt, and pepper. Shape into patties.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown patties on both sides.
  3. Place browned patties in the slow cooker.
  4. In a bowl, mix French onion soup, cream of mushroom soup, au jus mix, and water. Pour over patties.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours.
