Slow Cooker Lima Beans and Ham Recipe

- 1 pound dried lima beans rinsed and sorted
- 1 pound ham diced
- 1 large onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
1. Rinse and sort the dried lima beans.
2. Add the lima beans, diced ham, chopped onion, minced garlic, and chicken broth to the slow cooker.
3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the beans are tender.
5. Stir occasionally and adjust seasoning if needed before serving.
