  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Add the milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the boiling water to the batter, mixing continuously until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool in the slow cooker for 10 minutes before removing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
