Ingredients

  • 3 lbs Beef Chuck Roast
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 unit Onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 units Carrots, chopped
  • 4 units Potatoes, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef roast on all sides until browned.
  2. 2. Place the beef roast in the slow cooker. Add beef broth, chopped onion, minced garlic, carrots, and potatoes.
  3. 3. Pour Worcestershire sauce over the roast. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. 4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the meat is tender and falls apart easily.
  5. 5. Serve hot, with vegetables and cooking juices spooned over the top.
