Ingredients

  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into shapes using cookie cutters.
  7. Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack before serving.
